In 2010, JeanNicole Beauty was born out of a pressing need. Jean's clients would constantly come into the salon with shampoos and products to treat their irritated, itchy scalps. While several products were effective at soothing the scalp and treating the irritation, they would often leave hair strands dry and unmanageable. In an attempt to address this problem, Jean began mixing different products to create a formula that would deliver soft, manageable hair strands while providing a cleansing experience that clients could feel. After receiving rave reviews and tons of encouragement, Jean began making larger batches and selling at trade shows and expos, shipping to out-of-state clients, and doing local drop-offs and deliveries. With growing popularity and notoriety, Jean's best friend, Sanura, began advising her on ways to make a larger impact on their home community as well as the masses. From these conversations, the Jean Nicole Beauty brand was born, positioning itself to be the brand to watch in the beauty industry. Their partnership has given birth to numerous ideas and products that will have an indelible impact on the beauty world.
